Welcome to the renewed Rob's Guide to the Film Galaxy!

You may have either heard this on the radio (as it used to be on SYN 90.7 FM for the first half of 2009) and/or read a much older blog on the Film Galaxy's MySpace page.

The Film Galaxy has now found its new home on Blogger, so I'll posting up such things as:

• Film and DVD reviews
• Film topics/theories about the history/eras of certain film genres (Eg. Just how horror films have been given the new supposed name "torture porn"?)
• Top 5 or 10 Film-related lists
• Open discussions for all of you to discuss films
• And more...

So make sure you add this to your favourites on Internet Explorer, Firefox, whatever you use to access the internet...and I will be posting things up at random times. Oh, and don't forget to send me heaps of commments about movies you've seen lately or any questions about movies you need figuring out!

Thanks for taking time to reading this introductory blog post and as a reward, here's a trailer for the soon-to-be-released Where the Wild Things Are, which I reckon will be very imaginative, very cute, and hopefully very awesome!
